We aspire to become a regenerative business.

Three pillars frame this mission: regenerative business, regenerative product, and regenerative community.

The policies and standards below help guide our activities and decision-making across these pillars as we aspire to move beyond minimal compliance and engagement into best practice regenerative business.

We have a long way to go, but we’re heading in the right direction.

The Barefoot Code is the Vivobarefoot employee handbook, containing all our people policies and guidelines. Though we keep it internal to Vivo, a lite version is publicly available.

This policy sets out Vivobarefoot’s position on environmental issues. It informs processes and decision-making across our own operations and those of our value chain partners.

We want to replace our transactional supply chain with a transparent value chain that serves people and planet. This code sets out the minimum social and environmental standards we ask of our value-chain partners.

In 2023, we identified 30 sources of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk for our stakeholder assessment. This document outlines our process and findings, and will inform ongoing risk-management practices.

This policy explains Vivobarefoot’s position on providing equal opportunities in employment and business practice. We strive to implement it internally and across our wider stakeholder community.

The Livebarefoot Fund is an innovation-incubation fund that we use to fund, initiate, and nurture projects we believe in. This funding policy covers how we manage these projects and all contributions responsibly.

Vivobarefoot partners must comply with our Partner Code of Conduct. The Best Practice Tool – a set of business, environmental, and social questions we use with value-chain partners for collaborative improvement – goes further.
