Our value chain is the Who, What and Where involved in making our products, and the social and environmental impact this has. Who do we work with? What do they do? Where do our materials come from? As we explained in Unfinished Business, we’re on a mission to learn and communicate the truth, from top to toe.

Most companies don’t fully know their value chain, or they withhold the truth to protect ‘intellectual property’. This is wrong, because it hides the true impact of doing business. Transparency allows customers to make informed choices and encourages other businesses to open up.

Our map is a work in progress, so please bear with us. Though we’re striving for circularity, we’re not perfect, and reversing industry secrecy is difficult. We’ve made a solid start, but will regularly add to the map until we have full transparency of our entire value chain.

Raw Material Source:
Where natural materials, like wool or cotton, are harvested from nature in their original form.

Raw Material Manufacturer:
Where natural materials are processed so they are ready to be used in material and component manufacture.

Material Manufacturer:
Where natural materials that have already been processed by a Raw Material Manufacturer are turned into materials, like wool knits or cotton canvases, that can be used in footwear.

Material Agent:
A partner that finds the best materials and components for our footwear.

Product Assembly:
Where your Vivo’s are put together!

Where your Vivo’s are shipped and stored before delivery.

Recycling:
A partner offering an end-of-life solution for footwear that can’t be used anymore, working with us to close the loop.
 
Repair:
ReVivo! Where your Vivos go to be repaired, refurbished and resold.
