Premium, durable leather with a special, wet weather proof treatment.
I love how light these boots are, which makes a real difference when you’re tacking on the miles backpacking. They are ridiculously comfortable, too. The boots’ waterproofing is solid, as well. I trekked through 18 miles of shin-deep mud and stayed perfectly dry. What I don’t love is that the insole layers are already separating, and the sole adhesive has already begun to peel away from the toe leather—pretty disappointing after less than 20 miles underfoot.
When I ordered these boots, I was expecting "cement" to be a light grey, but when I received the boots, I noticed they are a light beige color. It seems like the color description could be more accurate. I LOVE this boot though. I have debated buying this boot since my first Vivo purchase and I'm happy I finally did! Lots of ankle support, cool design, nice color, and the sole feels similar to my Magna Trail shoes. A+!!
