What the Doctor Ordered

I love this shoe. I have suffered from Planter's fasciitis in my left foot and this shoe has provided me the support and flexibility that has returned the pleasure to my 4 mile hikes. Also, it is versatile. Sheds water, dries quickly, and is sturdy on the trail. Excellent in all aspects.

Love them!

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and don't impinge my feet at all while I exercise or move around. The opening where you insert your foot is too tight for my very high-arched feet making it difficult for me to get them on quickly. Maybe it'll stretch out over time. Once on, the shoes are perfect! I won't ever go back to regular running shoes.

I just ran my first 5k in these

I just ran my first 5k (actually, this was 3.5 miles, but close enough) in these. I know this isn't meant to be a road shoe, but I wanted something versatile enough that I could use it for other purposes so they wouldn't just sit in my closet afterward.

I'd say that the faster you're going, the more comfortable these shoes are. There's just something about them that makes you want to push with your feet. They fit snugger than my other vivos*, and aren't as comfortable for casual use, but for running they were phenomenal. I broke into a full sprint at the end, and they felt great.

* I find that vivobarefoot shoes generally fit a bit loose. I'd say these fit a bit snug compared to other vivobarefoots, but not compared to other shoes generally.
