Reviews

Favorite hiking shoe

These shoes are incredibly durable and have a very tough sole. I like to not wear socks but these shoes may require them since the built in sock is very tight on the heel causing friction. Overall my favorite hiking shoe I have purchased.

Great Look

I got primus lite shoes before these and after wearing vivobarefoot shoes other brands don't feel very well designed for feet, and I like the look. I can imagine they're what aliens traveling through interstellar space would wear. In both pairs I have replaced the innersoles with others easier on my heels. My one complaint about the Magna Trail shoe is a rubber ball kind of sound while walking that must be caused when the tops of the shoes compress and then release with each step. It's annoying but doesn't stop me from wearing them.

magna trail review

its a good shoe, compared to my trail shoes i like that it has laces. but also comparatively the shoe is much stiffer out of the box, especially around the top of the tongue and ankle, requiring a break-in period and thicker than normal socks.
