Cleats for Softball

Got these for half off as cleats for softball this summer as I can only wear Vivo Barefoot, so this seemed like the best bet. Since we've been buried by April snow storms I haven't had a chance to play a game in them yet, but I think they'll do as well as any barefoot style show could be expected to.

The fit is significantly more snug than other Vivo boots, such as the Scott. They are also shorter from heel to toe, but fit is still true to size, based on the location of the toe box. I assume this increased snugness is to offer more support when running on tough terrain. The sole is also substantially more rigid and less flexible that the Scott.

Really with they would have come with the performance insoles in lieu of the thermal ones. Or maybe both (hint, hint)?

Exactly what I was looking for...!

I think that these boots are great! Previously, I bought a size 9, but returned them for a size 10. I was concerned about my toes hitting the front of the boot when going down hill. With the size 10, my feet are really happy - I get a cool boot that is light weight, looks good and still gives my feet freedom. With the right size, I recommend them without reservation.

Great Potential

These could be great shoes. They appear to be very well-constructed. The tread on the bottom is super sticky. They look a little bulky, but hey, they get the job done. My problem with these shoes, and the reason that I had to return them, is an issue with the size. I ordered size twelve, what I typically wear, and they fit length wise. They offered plenty of width for my toes to spread, of course. It was the height that made them a no-go for me. It was very difficult to cinch them up so that they fit snugly enough that my feet didn't flop around inside of them, and when I did, the shoes were all bunched up and wrinkled and I had near 6" of excess lace swinging around.
