Amazing Shoe

This boot is amazing. Ultralight weight and flexible. I wore it in the snow of Colorado and my feet stayed warm and dry. Highly recommend it!

So comfortable!

Great boots! Warm, flexible and spacious. They're waterproof up to a couple inches too.

Best Yet

I've been wearing exclusively Vivo's since 2011. I've worn and still own the Aqueous (still my go to motorcycle boot!), the original hiker, the first and gen Scotts, along with a multitude of other shoes and sandals.

When the temp is warm, I'm wearing sandals or no shoes, so a good winter boot that will actually have a barefoot feel yet keep my foot warm has been a necessity for some time. I used to shove my foot with some huge merino socks into the Aqueous and then the first gen, half-brown-half-black Scott's.

This new all leather version blows all of them away. The leather had some nicks and damage, but overall looks stunning. After a hard winter in Milwaukee they still look pretty good. Larger, wider, and a bit longer in the toe box than other Vivo's, including the 1st gen Scott. I like this extra space for accomodating thicker winter socks. However, I don't need to wear as thick of socks as I used to. The new thermal insoles are simply amazing. To test it, I tried them in my canvas, 1st gen Scotts. The insoles made them significantly warmer. The leather also insulates better than the canvas. Overall, my favorite purchase from Vivo yet.
