Enjoying - reserve judgement until worn in
It took a little time to wear in so for the first few days there were the edge of blisters on the back of my ankles but since they've softened to normal, they've been great. The grip is a little less than I thought but better than other shoes. It takes time to get used to the barefoot walking but after a few weeks, it's fine.
Want to love them, but got a blister!
I really love the look of these, and was excited to wear them out. Unfortunately my first wear was with low rise socks and the high back rubbed a blister. They are more comfy with longer socks, and am hoping once the blister has healed I can wear them a bit more often and the high top will soften.
Happy feet, happy body
These are my second Vivobarefoot shoes. Needed to keep my feet warm and dry in the autumn/winter. So far so good and wearing them lots...my regular North Face trail shoes are relegated to the spare room! These did take a bit of breaking in (unlike my Primus Trail FG which were good to go immediately). There was a bit of pinching over the toe where the shoe creases, but this eases off. I also had a bit of rubbing on one of my achillies, but ensuring I wear socks that are long enough to come above that point means there is no rubbing now. Comfortable, warm, dry, highly recommend.
