Still making my mind up!....but Yes I do like them

This is my first pair of barefoot shoes so I have nothing to compare to.

I've probably come into the market from a totally different perspective. I have been barefoot walking through the winter, on the beach almost daily, in the Far North Scottish Highlands.....The purpose to have contact with 'Mother Earth' without having the conduction broken by the materials of shoes.
On returning home I feel resistant to putting shoes back on (even though there is no conduction in the house) as I do also like just being in my bare feet. That's where I thought I'd try out Vivo's shoes.

Overall I really like the shoes, I like the look of them, I like the feel of them, I like the soles, I like wearing them in the house and I like wearing them outside. I like the feeling of feeling my feet!

I would have given 5 stars except the way they are made, where the sole meets the shoe there's a hard bit rubbing on my little toe and I am quite aware of it, it leaves the toe quite red/a bit sore and I think if I were running or walking on rougher terrain for a longer period I'd get a blister. I find the elastic quite tight against the foot, I've not pulled/tightened the lacer at all. I don't know if these are because I'm being soft or if it's a design flaw.
Lastly I took my usual size 7 but without socks I find they are quite large. I quite like the feel In some ways with socks but it makes the other points worse. To have a better idea, It would be nice to compare the fit one size down, or ideally a half size down but that option was not available on this shoe,

I think I would buy again, I like the ethics of the company and that's quite important to me. I am very much on a working class wage so it may take me quite a bit of time to afford another pair but I prefer to pay a fair and true price that represents all people & environmental factors involved.

What really swung it for me to try out a pair of Vivo was the 100day money back guarantee, this gave me the confidence to pay out such a lot of money if they didn't go well.

So I'd say if you're interested give them a go there's really nothing to loose but possibly much to gain! :-)

Perfect travel companion

Walked over 100 miles around Japan in these shoes and they were fantastic...super comfortable, stylish and lightweight. Perfect for travelling.

Trail not fell

I bought this shoe in my usual size to try out on the fells. The fit around the heel is great but due to the room around the forefoot there is too much shoe roll to use on really rough technical terrain. Maybe downsizing could sort this problem out? Despite this I really like the shoe and will continue to use it for trail running and for shorter runs on the local peaty fells. I suppose the clue is in the name "Primus TRAIL SG"!
