Reviews

Not quite what I was hoping for

I found these shoes dissapopinting for the following reasons:
- I am between size 5 and 6, size 5 was tight on my toes, in size 6 my foot was moving all around the shoe and it looked quite unflattering as it obviously looked too big for me. Unforunately, size 5.5 is not available;
- Even in size 6, I felt that the toe box is too narrow at the big toe as it curves in and this prevents a fully natural movement of the toe;
- The shoe is too loose at the ankle and heel which is a problem if you need a larger size, this contributed to the size 6 feeling too large for me.
- Lastly, this is a general thing I have realised with vivobarefoot shoes, I think the shoes aimed for city walking need to have a bit more padding as tarmac and pavement are not exactly natural walking surfaces. You need to be quite a seasoned barefoot walker to feel comfortable walking in these in the city for hours.

so cosy!!!

Love these shoes. They look great and they are so cosy! Warm and soft, your feet fell like wearing slippers. Highly recommended!

Not for me

I'm a big fan of VivoBarefoot shoes, and these shoes are well-made, as all VivoBarefoot shoes are. However, they're not for me: the height of the heel/sides cut into my ankle bone, and I found the style - not low enough for a standard shoe or high enough for a boot - strange: I couldn't see what sort of 'gap' these shoes would fill in my wardrobe. I prefer the men's "Ra" shoes, which, as a women's size 7, I'm able to fit into.
