As part of our Soul of Africa range, speaking directly to the Laetoli footprints, the shoes are handmade in Ethiopia, empowering makers, supporting local communities.

So confident, we've introduced a 100 day trial to all orders. If you change your mind within that period, we're happy for you to return your shoes for a full refund with no hassle.

The Born Nomad, Born Free print is inspired by Waris Dirie, a Somali nomadic family born supermodel, founder of the Desert Flower Foundation. Proceeds from sales go to support the Foundation.Ababa shoes carry the Proudly Made in Africa award, as they are independently verified for their quality, materials used and ethical production.

I was a little concerned that the writing on the shoes would look too big but they look great and could be worn with shorts or skirts in the summer. Very comfortable too.
Well worth the wait as there were no Ababas in my size for a while. They are so comfortable, look great and are perfect for the summer.

Tracked service with DPD Orders must be placed by 2.30pm. Orders placed after 2.30pm Thursday-Sunday will be processed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.
Tracked service with DPDOrders must be placed by 2.30pm Friday or will be delivered the following weekend.
