Great shoes for wet running
I love Vivobarefoot shoes.
I have been running in the Primus Trail FG shoes for most of the summer and found them excellent.
In October I had a trail race in the lake district where I knew wet weather and puddles were a distinct possibility so wanted a shoe for these circumstances and chose these. As it turned out, the weather was very wet and I ended up wading through deep puddles a lot. As these shoes use a neoprene shell they don't retain water and drain well.
The shoes were excellent.
I find the shoes slightly larger than the Primus Trail FG, i think it's because it's slightly less padded round the heel, but nothing that would make me change my shoe size, just maybe a slightly thicker sock.
As alway, amazing shoes from Vivobarefoot.
Great all rounder
My new favourite shoe for running and hill walking.
Great for mud runs!
I bought these Primus Swim Run trainers primarily for mud/obstacle runs. It held up very well. One suggestion: wear it with socks to avoid irritated skin around your ankle.
