My First Minimalist Shoe

I am 37years old 177cm 83kg. My feet are wide. I normally run about 7 to 10km 6 days a week on concrete with an average pace of 5’08” km. I bought these shoes primarily for running however they are nice looking shoes that I can wear casually too. My previous running shoes were Skechers Go Run Ultra R, so for me, these are my first minimalist shoes. My transition seems to be going fairly quickly. I have only had the shoes for one week. I started cautiously with my first run at 700m but within the week I have built up to be able to comfortable run 5km in them. I did have a little pain around one heel the second day probably from running too intensely, too quickly, and maybe dropping from the forefoot to the heel a little heavily. The balls of my feet felt a little bruised the first couple of days but they feel fine now. I wear socks with them but I think toe socks would be better to let your toes spread more easily. I start each run off very slowly with a moderate walk until I am warmed up and after the run I do a few stretches. I plan to gradually work my way back up to 10km and beyond but happy, where I am already, and with the shoe build quality, and look. International delivery time to Taiwan was as estimated at checkout and I opted to pay tax on delivery which was about half the price of Vivos pay tax prior option. I have really been focusing on improving my running technique and I think these shoes have helped me to do that. I have only worn these shoes this week but tried on some of my other shoes and boots and was surprised to feel how much my toes were being squashed by the other designs. Hope that helps.

Primus Lite

Only had them a few weeks and yet to be convinced. Big good thing... they look cool and feel super light, or rather, they are super light. Bad news: i am 60 so what i think is cool may not be the same as what your target demographic thinks.

But, but but, I felt that vis a vis the Ra II the sole paln is a bit narrower and longer, and the sole itself is less flexible, at least laterally.

I did not buy them to run but to take to the gym. I have only wore them once at the gym but had to wear socks to pad them out which i did not intend.

Oh well, may feel differently once wore them a few times and at least they arent Nike. Nike are the evil empire, the total rotters that they are.

Great shoe!

The shoe looks really good, and is very light. And it's really bare on the soul of the shoe, very thin! Some of you may need an insole especially if it is your first barefoot shoe. The wide toe box is perfect for tall guys like me whose big feet don't fit into conventional shoes. I've been running in these for a few days only, and the ride is full of proprioception and makes your ankles do a lot of work. Overall, an excellent shoe!
