Total Eclipse Lux

So these are light, flexible and you can really let those feet breath on a hot day. They do however take a little getting used too with the leather strip going through my toe. I never wear flip flops so I wasn't used to that style, I always wear sliders. I'm sure once the leather wears in and softens they will be like all my vivo's very comfortable, a must for holidays.

The leather version is a definite improvement

Compared with the older non-leather Eclipse, these leather ones feel more comfortable. The toe post initially is stiff and quite uncomfortable but should soften over time. And the leather footbed feels much nicer than the rubber/plasticky one on the previous model.

I would say these are best for casual use and walking around instead of running. I think the original version was intended for running but these leather ones especially are heavier and not as thin & flexible as the huarache sandals popular for running, and the toe post not as soft.

But for casual everyday wear, if you're OK with the toe post then these are quite a luxurious huarache style sandal and much better than flip-flops as they have the ankle strap to hold the heel in place (flip-flops are bad for the feet due to the motion of scrunching the toes to keep the flip-flop in place as you walk, but the ankle straps prevent that so your feet move naturally and healthily in these).

These fit me true to my usual Vivo size.
