Reviews

comfy casual slipper

very comfy slipper, yet still stylish in an odd kind of way.
They seem very roomy and I tend to always want a little extra width.

Mostly great

A very comfortable everyday shoe that takes very little time to mould to your foot shape and use patterns. Light and flexible, very grippy soul which gives lots of confidence when performing all sorts of tasks. Possibly a bit wide for some but suited me fine.

Two issues with the general design concept:

1. Because there is no raised lip at all where the sole meets the upper at the front ANY moisture you come into contact with such as dew on grass or even the tiniest bit of puddle gets absorbed by the upper. This means that in less than a minute most of the toe box can be saturated, transmitting straight through to your socks/bare feet.

2. More of a general gripe I've found with Vivo vegan ranges that aren't made from natural materials is that they seem to offer very little ventilation/poor foot breathability. If you wear them without socks your feet sweat far more than with other designs and the shoe can end up stinking within just a few uses. I have used de-odourising methods and talcum powder and nothing seems to stop this!

Lovely shoe otherwise.

Sweet summer kicks

After getting my feets on a pair of leather Ababas and discovering those to be excellent summertime office shoes, I couldn't resist a second pair of the canvas tops to enjoy more sock-free days/nights while the weather is warm. These shoes are spacious and comfy, and the simple design is rad. Love the rubber heel for easy access (and shape preservation) too.
