ROLE OVERVIEW

The Footwear Developer is responsible for managing the development process from concept through to production with supply chain partners in Vietnam, China, Portugal, and Ethiopia. Developing product and that continuously raises the bar in terms of fit, function, and materials.

 

The Footwear Developer is responsible for:

- Collaborating with Design, the Development and Commercialisation Manager and our Manufacturing Partners to provide technical guidance on new development & innovation support, highlight risks and potential challenges and suggest alternatives where possible.

- Communicate new briefs and product changes to global supply chains.Maintaining high awareness of the Critical Path to ensure information and samples are sent according to the seasonal timeline.

- Proposing cost saving options at each sample round to ensure that products are developed to target FOB wherever possible.

- Working to continuously improve product quality and ensure that Vivobarefoot shoes are developed to the highest standards, protecting our brand USP (WTF).

- Maintaining, enhancing, and implementing the future material toolbox ensuring testing, research and due diligence is carried out in good time during product ideation.

- Oversee lab testing both for material and finished goods.

- Supporting Product and Sustainability with the mapping and disclosure of Supply Chain and Materials traceability for customers to access.

- Utilizing the V-Matrix to score new products each season and use the information to improve the product score season on season.

- Conducting fit and wear testing on all new products throughout the season, then adjust the style where required based on the feedback and use the data for continuous product improvement each season.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The UX Designer role is a highly dynamic and creative role that will work closely with the ecommerce, marketing and product teams to create, translate and enhance our online stores and experiences. The UX Designer is responsible for:

- Conducting concept and usability testing and gather feedback.

- Championing best practice of usability and user-centric design.

- Leading and supporting discovery of the project lifecycle, including workshops, user and stakeholder interviews, analytics, audits, persona creation and benchmarking.

- Developing wireframes, high fidelity experiences, interactive prototypes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively represent a solution.

- Informing the optimisation roadmap through qualitive audits of the the current vs future digital experiences to increase performance and customer engagement.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dynamic and exceptionally talented designer to lead the creative expression of Vivobarefoot’s regenerative mission. This new role will lead the visual tone and presentation of the brand, working to translate brand vision into compelling creative, while leading and inspiring the team to produce innovative and genuinely disruptive, convention-challenging creative.

Reporting into the Head of Brand & Product Marketing, and working in close collaboration with the CDO/Co-Founder, the role focuses on creative identity and execution, delivering arresting and highly impactful storytelling. As Creative Lead, the role will be instrumental to achieving our mission of reconnecting people and planet, affirming Vivobarefoot as a true challenger within the footwear industry, and a regenerative leader far beyond.

You should have minimum 6 years’ experience in a design or creative department, working on integrated campaigns, brand or agency side, and will have a strong focus on digital channels. You will lead the team to ensure work produced internally is on brand, engaging, intuitive, intelligent, and drives brand and business objectives.

 

The Creative Lead is responsible for:

- Continuous evolution of Vivobarefoot’s creative expression, setting the tone for how we show up and drive our mission.

- Concepts, art direction and creative for flagship initiatives and campaigns across footwear, health, and activism.

- Lead and direct still and film shoots for content and campaigns, including guidance of post-production.

- Lead creative evolution of our platforms, from website and social, to physical retail.

- Packaging and assets to support Vivo products, consistent with brand mission & values; remove waste, optimise function & circularity.

- Consumer marketing (retail, wholesale, windows, etc.).

- Shape internal and external communications, documents, and presentations, from press releases to annual reports.

- Build, lead, and nurture internal and external networks of best-in-class agencies and creative individuals.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Active Footwear Designer is responsible for the footwear design of our Adults Active category. Researching trends and creating compelling new footwear concepts that meet the brand strategic priorities, category product briefs & seasonal design direction, set by the CDO and Senior Management Team.

The Active Footwear Designer is responsible for:

(A) Design Responsibilities:

  • Design solutions that are consumer & brand relevant and result in industry defining footwear.
  • Maintain design consistency through the product line from the direction outlined by the CDO.
  • Create concept boards and supporting artwork to illustrate the design concept, theme & product story.
  • Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Approach design with an agile dynamic perspective to bring fresh ideas to the process.
  • Researcg & identify future technologies, trends & opportunities.

(B) Technical Responsibilities:

  • Present ideas as hand-drawn sketches to digital presentations (rendered flat line, flat patterns, 2D/3D, technical drawings etc).
  • Present designs with sustainability at the centre, consistently evaluated against the V-Matrix.
  • Create technical drawings to represent construction information, ensuring accurate interpretation by development.
  • Research functional criteria for product to identify functionality benchmarks and work closely with development to test, evaluate and validate designs to these.

(C) Brand & Product Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Participate in creation of annual and long-term creative direction strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure holistic storytelling & end-to-end creative excellence from sell-in to sell-out.
  • Work with athletes and customers as a professional representative of the brand to gather insight & product feedback.
  • Prepare seasonal design presentations for seasonal sales confrence and other key events.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to lead the charge in the support and development of the Vivobarefoot global marketing initiatives. The role will support our network of global partners, wholesale and marketplaces, working alongside distributors in key markets across Europe, Asia, Australia, GCC, The Americas and Canada, who are vital to the success and growth of Vivobarefoot. Working between partners, marketing and our commercial team you will support the ongoing growth and alignment of our global business, offering support and the tools to partners to execute best in class marketing for our brand.

With a key focus on the DTC Experience, developing our brand and global community within international markets, you will lead the development of our Global Retail concept and experience. Starting with our London concept store and rolling out a best in class concept and customer experience across our Global stores whilst working closely with our digital teams to ensure a connected omnichannel experience.

Reporting into the Head of Brand & Product Marketing, and with a dotted line to our Head of Global Sales, the role balances left & right brain, needing to be highly organised and delivering against functional and commercial needs, whilst also having the creative brain to deliver innovative, engaging and highly creative marketing campaigns to engage global audiences.


The International Marketing Manager is responsible for:

- Supporting Vivobarefoot Global network of partners offering them transparency, support in planning and execution of marketing activity and channel initiatives, acting as both brand guide and guardian.

- Working in collaboration with Marketing and other functions to deliver against brand needs and business goals. Creating and affecting processes and feedback loops to ensure Global brand alignment and activity is delivered.

- Developing and leading Vivo’s Retail experience, creating exciting environment and activations that engage our customers on the ground in our bricks and mortar stores both in London, as we grow and in global partner stores.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sales Assistant is an important customer-facing role which helps to ensure the smooth running of the store.

As with all Vivobarefoot employees, they will be an ambassador for the brand on the shop floor and should feel pride in our brand and values. They will be in charge of processing transactions for customers day-to-day, and helping to pick and fit the most suitable products. Because of this, they will need to have a sound knowledge of barefoot shoes and our product range, and should give their honest advice to all customers on what will be the best choice for them. They will also help with deliveries, and ensuring the store and back-of-house is kept clean and presentable.

The arrangement for this role is to work full time, five days a week. The store is open from Monday through to Sunday, and the exact days this position will work on will be dependent on the requirements of the store.

 

The Sales Assistant is responsible for:

-      Being an approachable and friendly colleague instore.

-      Approaching customers and guiding them through their barefoot journey: The sales assistant should have a fantastic knowledge of store product and be able to communicate this information well to our customers.

-      Dealing with customer complaints.

-      Ensuring that as a team the store (shop floor and back of house) is kept clean and presentable.

-      Making sure that the stockroom is kept clear of any mess and ensuring that all shoeboxes are stored neatly and correctly. 

-      Assisting with deliveries (counting in shoe boxes and allocating them to their correct space in the stockroom, and ensuring that all pairs match the delivery notes).

-      Acting appropriately on the shop floor and being a fantastic ambassador for the brand.

-      Ensuring any issues are reported to a senior member of staff in a timely manner.
