SMALL STEPS CELEBRITY AUCTION

SMALL STEPS CELEBRITY AUCTION

Vivobarefoot have been partnering with the Small Steps project for the last 2 years, through their Small Steps shoe auction. Thought leaders and likeminded businesses come together to raise awareness and funds for the thousands of children and families who are forced to work and live on rubbish dumps.

100% of the profits raised from the auction go to supporting the creation of education and enterprise-based solutions for the children and adults who work and live on these rubbish dumps, which exist due to the western world’s throwaway consumer culture.

The shoe industry is a big contributor to the problem, with over 24 billion pairs of shoes being made each year, and around 90% of them ending up in landfill. Vivobarefoot are striving to keep their footwear out of landfill and on feet for as long as possible through their ReVivo project, which reconditions old Vivo’s, keeping them in circulation.

Vivobarefoot will continue to work with charities like Small Steps to ensure those who are directly affected by these landfill sites are supported.

If you want to support the cause learn more about Small Steps and their auction here.

You can also get involved with the online auction. Where the likes of Ronnie Wood, James Purefoy, Helena Christensen and Vivobarefoot Ambassador Ross Edgley have their Vivo footwear on offer! You can see some of their designs below!
