Sea to Summit with Ross Edgley

It’s been 4 months since adventurer and Vivobarefoot ambassador, Ross Edgley, completed the Great British Swim – a mammoth challenge that saw him become the first person to swim 2000 miles around the coast of mainland Great Britain.

That’s where Project Land Legs comes in. After being non-weight bearing during the 157 days he was at sea, the smaller, intricate muscles in his legs and feet had atrophied. Sea to Summit sees Ross travel to Keswick in the Lake District and climb the summit of Cat Bells. All in an attempt to get those ligaments and tendons firing again.

“For me one of the best things I can do to recondition my legs and get walking and running again, is just walking and running again. And really, there’s no better gym than the Lake District.”
