- Very goodlooking shoesI bought Ra II for my husband, these are his first barefoot shoes and he likes them very much! They look very nice and so far the quality seems great. He has quite narrow feet and the size fits well. Only one weird thing - the corc insole that comes with the shoes is slightly smaller the the shoe itself and he does not like the feeling that toes are over the edge.

- Good shoe with Some room for improvementGood shoe, but gets a little damp on the inside after some hours . I felt the oxblood colored suède RA where more breathable. Also the absence of metal re-inforcemens around the shoe lace openings are a minus point. Something i let my shoemaker put in afterwards. Gives them a more tough look besides the added durability.

- nice enough but poor qualityAt first it looks like a well done pair of shoes, comfortable , lightweight and leather instead of recycle plastic. But unfortunately after 3 days one of the shoe is already showing signs of wear and tear, just above the sole, where it is stitched to the leather, it is also glued and obviously it's already unglued on some parts nothing major but it is only 3 days!!!. So yes i could send them back which will cost me 20€ but i already send back a pair o git offered 2months ago because of very early sign of poor quality. (Design in UK, made in Bangladesh might be the reason)
So I'm now thinking about other brand of barefoot shoes....a pity reallyPosted on

- Very good casual shoeI bought these as a casual shoe, but seems that I've been mostly used these at office with formal or smart casual dress. They are very comfortable. Not as stylish as pointy headed modern shoes, but a lot more healthy for my feet. These are my second pair Vivo shoes, started with Primus Lites for running and walking. Hooked on barefoot shoes, it is hard to put on regular shoes anymore.

- Excellent fit but I wish the Ra II Hopewells were still availableThis is my second pair of Ra IIs. The first pair I had were the Ra II Hopewell and they were the best shoes I have owned. The new Ra IIs have the same comfortable wide fit as the Hopewells, but in all other aspects they fall short in my opinion. The leather is a slightly matt on the outside and quite raw on the inside. I think the leather is thicker than the Hopewells and definitely feels warmer and does not breath as well. I also preferred the Hopewells' more light brown color.

- Nice allaround casual shoeRa II in black Wild Hide look and feel nice and well-made. The Leather is supple yet seems durable. The fit in on the smaller side: these are my 6th pair of vivos, and they seem to fit tighter than any other pair of the same size. This okay as they still fit without the insoles. I'm sure these will become my go-to pair for casual use around town.

- RA II Men´sI just bought a second pair of these shoes. Not because the old ones are done as these shoes really seem to last very well even when used daily, but because I wanted to make sure I keep having these for times to come. Also the new ones can be used for more formal situations. These shoes are good for casual and formal wear at least in my estimation. And of course comfort is the key. I would be hard pressed to get back to the kinds of shoes I used to wear as it is so great to have room for toes and feeling the ground under the feet. Viva Vivo!

- Really minimalMy first pair of minimal shoes, and I couldn't be happier. These are very simple and stylish.
Couple of pointers for other buyers. I bought according to the sizing guide, but found out that these are a bit snug with the included cork insoles. Without insoles they are perfect.
Another thing, which you might guess, these are not that warm at temperatures around zero degrees celsius. But that's a great excuse to buy another pair for the winter, one size larger..Posted on

- Great leather shoeRA II has two options with cork insole or without.
Size difference between those two is quite big. For my foot , without RA II is almost bit too large and with it's so so. Time will tell if leather is deformed so that RA II will fit perfectly with insoles.
Feeling without insoles is otherwise just perfect. Later on colder weather I might try also cork insole for additional insulation.Posted on
- Incredible improvement over timeFinally the moment came: both the Ra shoes and Vivobarefoot company deserve a 5 star review.
Since a couple years ago, when I purchased my first pair of vivos (which still rock and roll), there has been an amazing improvement in the product quality, customer service and delivery.
I have to remark that the company is listening to us, now the shoes are same length but wider, meeting the need for veteran customers with stronger and wider feet made over time using vivobarefoot, to continue using them comfortably.This is not my opinion only, I have gifted shoes to my mum and dad recently, who confirmed me this fact.
The materials are and look stronger, hardly breaking up on the weak spots where they used to. And when they do, no questions asked and refund is made.

- Wide and comfortable daily shoeThe combo of a thin rubber sole and the supple leather top make it a great all around shoe. I prefer wearing it without socks but this can make the feet a little smelly. Also I am not such a big fan of the cork inlay sole that is provided with the shoe. I prefer the sport (plastic mesh) version. However, I can't wear these shoes anymore, because of their extra space my feet expanded quite a bit and my right foot toes bump onto the end. Which is a good thing anyway, my next pair is going to be a bigger size of the same.

- My feet feel finally freeI have used those shoes since the day I got them. I have a quite wide foot and it has been difficult to find shoes where my legs fit in. In those shoes my feet feel free, like if they were tailor made for my feet freedom. They are so light I barely notice wearing anything. I like them and enjoy every step I take in those shoes. It was a perfect choice me and also recommendation for people with wider feet.

- Awful customer serviceShoes do look really good, never seen this good quality leather. At first waxing leather sucked a lot of leather wax.
In package insoles what were included were too big so I contacted customer service and they say we are out from size 45 so they sended 46 and recommended to cut them. I think that's awful customer service!
So I advice you to check amount of cork insoles first and if they are available then order.Posted on

- Love the Ra II as every-day shoe.Bought the Ra II a couple of days ago as every-day shoe.
I've had Vivobarefoot shoes before and like the feel of them.
The Ra II do not disappoint. They are comfy, look good and hold the promise of the barefoot feeling with good protection.
Width and size for me is spot on with a 44.
The first shoes I tried in a shop and are 43/44. Going up to 44 was a good choice.
Anyone who is into minimal shoes, I'd recommend this shoe.Posted on

- Size queryThis is my first barefoot shoe. I have been wearing them three weeks now.I like their suppleness and the fact that they seem to be solidly made so that they should last. They are definitely a challenge for my feet-I built up gradually to wearing them all day and I really felt my feet and calf muscles working hard to adjust to them. That's still ongoing but my feet can resist better than on day one now. I have one reservation in the fact that I may have a size too small. My feet move around inside to a certain extent and the toe beside my big toe touches the inside of the shoe in some cases-going downhill or walking fast for example. There were so many sensations at the start I think they masked the effect, but it's easier to isolate now. At rest I do have space. I really only happens in movement. How can I check if this is the right size for me?
I would also appreciate some recommendations about how to clean and maintain the shoes in good condition.Posted on
- Perfect fit for latin dancesThis is the 5th pair of vivos I have purshased (counting only the ones for myself), I can finally say to be 100 % satisfied with the product received.
Of course I was most of the time with the previous, but now I specifically planned to keep these shoes only for my indoor latin dances activities.

- Expecting a better feeling.I think that despite being one of our objectives, having the feet as free and flat , with free and separated fingers, you should consider that there are several forms of feet. Both the boot and the shoe, are with over width for my feet, and also some of my colleagues.

- Size was too small relative to size guideChose the size of the shoe according to size guide. Measured my foot and took the closest size. (measured my feet to be 28 cm and chose size 43 which is marked as 28.3 cm).
When the shoe arrived it was way too small. I guess that I have to order size 44 which is listed as 28.9 cm in the size guide.
I have sent the item back and have to wait until money will be transferred back to me before I can order a new pair.Posted on
