Sturdy so far

I live in Finland, and this country is not easy for any shoe. I am dealing with snow, all kinds of sticky dirt, lots of small pointy stones and quite often broken glass.
Most soles break in a matter of 4,5 months or else rain/slush starts to get the inside of the shoe wet by that time.
I haven't yet arrived to the 4 months mark but these are doing quite well so far, and I don't notice much on the sole.

Other than that great boots, really comfortable and flexible.

Good Winter Boot

I have had the Scott pair for little over week now, so this review is mostly a first impression, but I really have liked the pair so far. The construction seems impeccable and the materials feel sturdy. The fit is exactly what I expected from Vivo, wonderfully roomy and natural. The shoe is remarkably light for a winter boot, especially considering the materials used.
I have used the pair only in moderately cold conditions, so I cannot testify for Nordic winter proof claims, but so far my toes have been quite toasty, no I have no doubts these shoes will easily get me through the winter.
My only complaint is the tightness of the lacing and ankle part of the shoe: they require some effort when putting on. Also, I changed the laces as I disliked the chunky laces the shoes were shipped with, but that of course is a personal choice.
Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and I would gladly recommend these for anyone looking for relaxed yet stylish barefoot winter boots.

Great winter shoes for around 0°C, at least

I've tested these shoes so far only in mild winterish conditions (0 -8°C) and indoors. So far they have been a nice match for the temperature. The soles haven't been slippery, though I haven't had the chance to test them on ice or on compressed snow (which is rather close to ice).

The biggest problem so far has been the laces - since there is no zipper, it takes a little time to put on or take off the shoes. However, I learned to pull the laces outward just the right amount in a couple of days, so this hasn't been a huge problem ever since.

As a summary, I really recommend these for people (like me) who want to extend the season when they can use "barefoot" shoes.
