VIVOBAREFOOT have partnered with big wave Surfer, Torsten Durkan, who is helping turn the tide damage to our Oceans using an ingenious initiative…For every towering foot of wave that he Surfs, Torsten secures a pledge from individuals and companies, used to fund ocean conservation projects, specifically focusing on coral bleaching in the wake of climate change.

If you haven’t noticed from all the news recently, this year marks the 50^th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing where a certain Neil Armstrong (not to be confused with Lance, the incredibly fast cyclist) stepped out of his tinfoil moon-lander with the whole world sitting on the edge of their comfy sofas, watching on their black and white screens in awe...‘One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind..!’

Created in collaboration with Soul of Africa Shoes and A Ka So. This new design project is inspired by the unique art of the Kara people, inhabitants of Ethiopia.

VIVOBAREFOOT is heading to Wilderness Festival (Oxfordshire, UK) on August 2^nd to share the joys of that barefoot feel on 10,000 happy campers.

Swimrun has yet to take off in America.  But it will!

With the snow falling outside, I though I’d write a quick blog about building a snow house. Igloos are the trickiest shelters to build and should not be attempted in an emergency; they are wonderful shelters to spend time in. They are warm, roomy, and aesthetically pleasing. Plus they are lots of fun to build, especially with kids (or adults who still act like kids)!
