    • Best Adventure Shoe!

Review by Ninja Shoe | 23rd February 2012

This shoe has the greatest track-proprioception combo of anything I have EVER put on my feet. I tried these on, went for a run through the park (trail, dirt, sandstone, downhill, climbing), came back 40 minutes later and ordered a pair for the Gym.
I Coach CrossFit and teaching people how to squat and lift effectively requires being connected to the ground. Body Awareness and Midline Stabilization are King in CrossFit. These shoes are keeping me on my toes and building better foot strength and balance.

    • Neo Trail Mens

Review by Robby Elson | 5th January 2012

I love this shoe - great balance between tread and barefoot feel. However, I'm not a fan of the hydrophobic uppers. They're fine for light trail use, but if you enjoy more extreme trail running, the water tends to get in and not get out again. I would prefer something quick drying. That said, I did a 40-miler over the Brecon Beacons in them, in quite horrendously wet weather and, while I cursed the puddles of water I was running in all the way, the shoes were nigh on perfect in every other respect.

    • Neo Trail Black

      Review by Joe K. | 5th January 2012

      - These are my favorite shoes, period. I am 6ft and 220lbs. I wear VFFs for smooth running, but these are truly all-terrain. They feel good on cement, or in the mud. I referee soccer, and even in soggy, muddy grass they have never slipped. More toe and top protection for yard work than VFFs.
      - Also, unlike the rest of the NEO line, the black style actually looks relatively conservative.
      - I will definitely by another pair when these wear out (likely soon as often as I wear them.)
      - The only real con is that they don't come in wide sizes. I wore an 11-1/2 EE in Brooks before switching to minimal soles. The men's 46 works, but I would love a slightly wider toe box in a 45.

    • Worth it

      Review by Joel | 17th November 2011

Expensive but worth the quality and style that comes with this barefoot shoe. I like the new traction the brand put on this style.
