I have been wearing Flip Flops for years, and decided I better get back to wearing shoes. The barefoot shoe seemed like it would be an ideal choice to get my feet back to "normal". I chose the Breatho because I wanted a light weight shoe with plenty of ventilation.
When I first got them I wore them around the house for a bit and they felt great right out of the box. The real test was a hike in Moab called Portal Overlook. Its a short 2 mile hike with 980 feet of elevation gain. I was a bit worried taking a show I had only worn for 15 minutes onto this hike, but they performed flawless.
The soles gripped to everything, and still gave your feet great feel on rocks, roots, and even in the sand.
Very impressed with these shoes so far.
Cron seeing pictures of these shoes, I thought that walking around in them would fell very bulky. I was quite wrong! The lugs add no added bulk but get the job done for traction while offroad. I plan to put at least 300 miles on them, but they can probably do a lot more. Keep up the good work Vivobarefoot!!!
