Also wishing these came in a 48....47 is just a touch small in length.
The Good:
Zero drop, flexible sole provides good ground feel
Aggressive tread design grips superbly on wet trails.
The Bad:
Toe box not as ergonomic as the designs from
Altra Running or Leming Footware.
Pinky side toe splay restricted due to non-square toe box
Thin Mesh material covering the toe box may be a durability issue.
Difficult to cinch the heel securely. Shoe may pull off in deep mud.
Overall this is a good trail shoe. With a few design tweaks it has the
potential to be the best barefoot trail shoe on the market.
Great shoe - love it but I'm a 48 & had to cut out the toe area on my right foot in order to avoid blisters from rubbing. I sure wish they came in a 48. I can't be alone...
Very disappointed this shoe doesn't come in a 48. The 47 is a tad too small on one of my feet and it just won't fly, but I wish I could give it a go.
Feels great and has awesome grip in all conditions. Easy on and off with or without socks. Breathable material is great in warm weather, but go for another model if you need water resistance.
