off road hi boot
i have walked for years in thick soled boots and always had aches and pains - the advice was thicker and stiffer boots - but since i found these, thin, flexible, waterproof, hardwearing, lightweight (easy to pack and carry) boots I am never going back !
the only problem is that two of my lace hooks have snapped off on tightening - if you can fix this flaw I recommend these boots over anything else. -
Off Road Hi Ladies
These boots are amazing. About the color: I am not at all a girly-girl, and I like the color ... I didn't expect to like it, but the gray hides dirt nicely. I used these boots for a hiking adventure in the UK Lake District. I hiked from 5-7 hours a day, with ascents and descents, on rocks and grass and tarmac and scree, and my feet felt amazing. No slipping, no blisters, no foot pain or back pain. I want to buy another pair just in case VB stops making them.

The perfect hiking boot!
Overall, I love these boots. I bought mine in November and I've been more than pleased with how comfortable they are. I spent lots of time hiking outside during our snow storm; with 2 pairs of wool socks, my feet stayed warm and dry. The traction these shoes provide is fantastic. They are entirely waterproof, which is a huge bonus in Seattle! I'm planning to do lots of hiking this summer and looking forward to having comfortable feet. I'm happy to see they now offer it in black, because the gray and green colors are gross. My only minor complaint with the fit is that they are very narrow. I had to go up a size for width, which results in the shoe being slightly too long. I might try the men's model, should I need another pair.

off road hi ladies boot
My son got a pair of mens and is thrilled with them so I went to the ladies to get a pair and to my HORROR they look like any old trainer boot and in horrible grey with PINK .................come on everyone is not a barbie, everyone does not want these colors , why not a choice?????? I am again disappointed by the colors offered to women!

I feel it all
Two words I have never said in the same sentence ….HIKING AND BAREFOOT . This shoe really allows me to feel the elements under my feet and I am now having a true outdoor experience.
