There’s a good chance if you’re reading this you’re in touch with your body, you engage your feet and you have a good sense of what’s healthy and what’s not.

Here at VIVOBAREFOOT we spend a lot of time, effort and resources spreading the skill of natural locomotion by teaching people how to walk, run and move as nature intended.

But there’s more to healthy living than moving well and utilizing your feet. Diet is arguably equally, if not more important and it’s something we invest time in to ensure our team is well nourished.

Based on what our ancestors could hunt and gather – our approach to food is relatively simple.

Years ago our biomechanics expert and all round applied evolutionary science guru, Lee Saxby, spent some time with, friends of VIVOBAREFOOT, Melissa and Jasmine Hemsley finding their philosophy to food  a great fit with Vivos approach to movement. The Hemsley girls, along with Jasmine’s partner Nick Hopper, went onto specialise in taking food back to basics and established their family run business in 2010, supplying homemade, wholesome and nutrient-filled food.

Their food philosophy developed over ten years is simple: a healthy gut and good digestion leads to a healthy body and mind; that changing the way you eat doesn’t have to involve deprivation, but can be enjoyed every day – whether you are at home, work, with family or friends, or eating out.

As self-taught cooks the sisters’ down-to- earth, encouraging and practical guidance will inspire you to try new foods and no longer crave high sugar and processed meals. Packed with breakfasts, sweets, snacks and drink recipes as well as, main meals.
