Running the Brighton Marathon…in VIVOBAREFOOT shoes

This year VIVOBAREFOOT is supporting Snow-Camp’s Marathon Team at the 2012 Brighton Marathon.

Snow-Camp is a youth charity that supports inner-city young people using a unique combination of skiing, snowboarding and life-skills programmes.

Damian Peat and I are also running, as part of the Snow-Camp team. As keen snowboarders we thought it fit to support Snow-Camp in there great work. It’s my first Marathon, so I’m a bit apprehensive; half looking forward to it and half very much not looking forward to it. Eddie Izzard wears our barefoot shoes: the Aqua Lite

6 months into his marathon training, Eddie Izzard popped in to The VIVOBAREFOOT Experience in Covent Garden, London, for a training session with our Certified Coach Natalia Wojnar.
Not only did he drop by for a coaching session but he also bought some of our on-road/treadmill barefoot shoes: the VIVOBAREFOOT Aqua Lite.
Eddie’s training for 27 marathons in 27 days and has been running barefoot for last 6 months.
