Check out this pretty awesome review of the Evo from Runner's World (August 2010).

What is it?

A stripped-down training shoe that replicates the excitement of barefoot running – but without the associated risks.

The Verdict

The initial couple of wears were, predictably, an odd experience. However, our tester quickly adapted and found them easy to run in and surprisingly comfortable. The thin soles did not jar the foot; in fact, the extra responsiveness was a welcome and novel sensation, the footstrike was noticeably lighter.
