What is it?
A stripped-down training shoe that replicates the excitement of barefoot running – but without the associated risks.
The initial couple of wears were, predictably, an odd experience. However, our tester quickly adapted and found them easy to run in and surprisingly comfortable. The thin soles did not jar the foot; in fact, the extra responsiveness was a welcome and novel sensation, the footstrike was noticeably lighter.
Terra Plana’s Galahad Clark has been interviewed as part of an article on the new barefoot running phenomenon. He says “The year 2010 is going to be a breakthrough for the barefoot revolution.
