|If I had to choose my favorite fashion item, something I have way too many of, it would be shoes. Like most women, I really can’t get enough. Shoes always fit, they can really make an outfit and well…a pair of pumps has the power to make you look and feel like a supermodel.
Enter London-based shoemaker Terra Plana. If you’re not familiar with the brand, you’ll soon be obsessed. They use raw materials; vegetable tanned leathers and recycled elements for everything from the sole to the trim of your shoe. Oh, and did I mention their heels come with a bit of added comfort thanks to a memory foam foot bed?
I’m sure you can only image my delight when I heard that the brand just opened an outlet store in SoHo with selections from their classic collection, Dopie sandal line and VivoBarefoot style at 50-70% off. The Melito style (pictured above) was originally $210 and is being offered for only $120. Sold!
While a listing of which styles will be at the outlet store isn’t available, you can still log onto http://www.terraplana.com to view their collections and to learn more about the brand.
I’ll have to keep this purchase(s) a secret from the boyfriend…he’s starting to get annoyed that a portion of our closet-less bedroom (I know-gasp!) is filled with shoeboxes.
