Get your Birthday Shoes On: Hybrid Golf Shoes

November 1st 2012 by Toni-Marie

“I guess you don’t really need your golf shoe to roll up into a ball, but the fact that it can just shows how well it lets your foot flex and move as it wants to. The Hybrids are definitely the thinnest most flexible golf shoes I’ve worn.” – Birthday Shoes

Our friends at Birthdayshoes.com took a pair of the Hybrid Golf Shoes from VIVOBAREFOOT and gave them a thorough test drive. If you’re considering purchasing barefoot shoes that will improve your golf game, we would recommend you read the review first.

Testimonial: Brienne Tougas

November 1st 2012 by Jamie Page

“What I like about my shoes is they are pink, minimalist, and comfortable. They also have a wide toe box. What I do not like about my shoes is that the laces are quite long and they untie easy. Because my shoes are white and pink they get dirty easily. I wear my shoes to go hiking, backpacking, and cross-country running. My Vivobarefoot shoes are comfortable for all those things, although my toes get cold if it’s windy and cold out. I’ve won a few medals in my cross country races, 3 golds and 1 silver.”

An update from our New York Office

Our  New York store and Head Office, both in Lower Manhattan, have been affected by Hurricane Sandy and are, currently without power. We’ve been down to inspect the damage and everything looks okay but we can’t get back in to the buildings, until the electricity returns. We are working hard to resume service by working from home (for those with power) or at friend’s, colleague’s or our families’ places. We will hopefully be up and running once again by the end of the week once the transport networks are running and the power returns. Brrrrrrezzy lites

October 31st 2012 by Toni-Marie

“The answer is a definite yes. I have developed an affection for them. Over the past month, I have found myself in them all the time when just out and about with the kids. They are a good looking shoe at a good price and I will be buying a pair of lighter coloured ones for wearing out and about, next summer.” Read more…
