Wild Swimming? Stuff Magazine recommends the VIVOBAREFOOT Ultra
March 06, 2014 by Jamie Page
“You can climb over rocks in them without shredding your toes.”
The word amphibious probably conjures up visions of frogs, large yellow hybrid boat-trucks and soft-topped sports cars that drive on land and float in the water. But really it’s the VIVOBAREFOOT Ultra that should instantly spring to mind! A versatile shoe that is good on land and in the water. A perfect beachside companion or as Stuff magazine would say an instant upgrade for those looking to take part in a spot of Wild Swimming.
When talking about the Ultra, Joe Minihane from Stuff Magazine, commented:
“If easing into the water from a sandy beach seems too easy, these rugged, amphibious shoes will help you clamber to more exciting spots.”
Continuing to talk about these lightweight shoes:
“They’re also lightweight enough to ensure you won’t be weighed down while striking out to sea or exploring hidden coves.”
