A tail from the trail featuring the Breatho
December 17, 2013 by Landon Faulkner
The Vivobarefoot Breatho Trail shoes are nothing short of eye-catching, especially in the lime green my pair came in. They are a sleek looking off-road shoe that is both flashy or reserved, as Vivobarefoot makes the Breatho Trail in a number of different colors to suit your particular style. For me, however, the bright and loud color was spot on. The Breathos are competitively priced at $90 (Check them out here). Here’s my take on the shoe after logging a decent amount of miles in them, including some on-road runs.
Vivobarefoot has delivered a great off-road barefoot shoe in the Breatho Trail. They offer a great barefoot experience (especially when the 3mm insole is removed) while still providing adequate protection from rocks, roots, and everything else the gnarliest of trails will throw at you. They are priced well and offer a great fit, protection and awesome performance for a competitive price.
