Running the Brighton Marathon…in VIVOBAREFOOT shoes

April 12th 2012 by Jamie Page

This year VIVOBAREFOOT is supporting Snow-Camp’s Marathon Team at the 2012 Brighton Marathon.

Snow-Camp is a youth charity that supports inner-city young people using a unique combination of skiing, snowboarding and life-skills programmes.

Damian Peat and I are also running, as part of the Snow-Camp team. As keen snowboarders we thought it fit to support Snow-Camp in there great work. It’s my first Marathon, so I’m a bit apprehensive; half looking forward to it and half very much not looking forward to it. We haven’t yet decided whether to run in VIVOBAREFOOT shoes or to go full-on barefoot…

Previous VIVOBAREFOOT Marathon Runner Nick Hines wrote a great blog for us last year and barefoot runner Joe Addison is running barefoot again this year.
