Trail Runner Nation test the Neo Trail

March 13th 2012 by Jamie Page

Here’s Trail Runner Nation testing our barefoot trail shoe the VIVOBAREFOOT Neo Trail.

“The first trail run was on a non-technical section of trail. It was a short 14 mile run. I was more aware of my foot placement in these shoes. The 2.5 mm sole provided great protection from the ground, and I was pleased regarding how they performed. They did perform well in muddy conditions.”

“I also started to integrate running with the Neo Trail on grass and some road. They performed well on grass with the 4 mm luggs [sic] , as well as, on road. They really felt great on the grass. Since I liked the way they felt on my feet, I wore them to work and eventually also as a casual shoe.”

Best shoes ever made!!! I was worried at first that they would not hold up, but both of my pairs are about a year old and they are both in perfect condition from almost daily all day use, running, parkour and crossfit type activities.

I love Vivobarefoot shoes ( I have purchased most of their products) they are the most comfortable and well made shoe. The trail shoe is light and has great traction, with a nice barefoot feel and enough support on rocky terrain.
