Kevin Shannon hits Serbia with the Off Road Hi

January 24th 2013 by Kevin Shannon

In just over 2 weeks I fly out to Serbia to walk from the north to the south of the country; a journey of about 500 miles. The task is simple. But I don’t think it will be easy.

So why Serbia? Since i cycled through the country in a couple of years back i fell in love with the country. The people took good care of me, I made friends for life and I learned a lot about a country that i knew very little about before i crossed the border. But i didn’t learn enough. I wanted to learn more. Read more…

A Revolutionary Movement

September 25th 2012 by Galahad Clark

There’s a change coming: a paradigm shift in conventional thinking.  It’s a growing movement of fresh ideas and shared values based on natural evolution, mutation and adaptation.  It’s a better way of doing things- a better way of moving, a better way of living.

At VIVOBAREFOOT we draw from the past, the current and the future.  Barefoot movement is our shared heritage; it’s a blueprint for health prototyped over tens of thousands of years.  We respect the natural so use intelligent, sustainable design to produce a complete range of shoes that allow you to bring the sensation of the natural into everyday, modern life.  It’s ancient wisdom combined with modern technology.

We hold to our beliefs that barefoot is the gold standard. As we launch our new range, we want to bring you closer to nature to fuel adventures, play, sharing and learning. And as the industry moves to dilute and produce more “commercial” interpretations that dumb down our senses, we call on you to champion the true movement: pure barefoot 24/7.
